On Tuesday 25th February 2020, we visited Thomas Broadbent and Sons, Huddersfield.
Thomas Broadbent and Sons Limited (now known worldwide as ‘Broadbent’) were founded in 1864 as a leading supplier of industrial centrifuges to the food processing, plastics and chemical industries. They are still a family-run business, with expertise covers all major disciplines including process engineering, mechanical and electrical design, industrial controls and production engineering. They design, test, manufacture and support standard and bespoke centrifuge solutions for an ever-widening range of industrial solid/ liquid separation applications.
