Queen Street Textile Museum is the last surviving 19th century steam powered weaving mill in the world.
The tour will take between 1.5 – 2 hours and will give you the history of the Mill and offer several demonstrations.
This is a tour of the state-of-the-art centre where we will see the present and the future of recycling a wide variety of waste.
This centre has reduced by 90% the amount of household waste sent to landfill.

After feedback from Members at our March 2023 Annual General Meeting we have decided to have a Summer Social. This will be a cold buffet and a choice of sweets. The cold buffet will include assorted sandwiches, meat, fish, pork pies, scotch eggs, sausages, cold pizza, samosas.
