Built in the year 1784, the Grade II* listed Gayle Mill is the oldest unaltered Mill Building in the United Kingdom. When the Industrial Revolution came to Gayle Mill near Hawes, little did we know that the Mill was to become the living embodiment of Industrial Evolution in this country.

Produmax manufacture precision parts and assemblies for the aerospace industry.
Wishbone Brewery are a small British brewery, they brew fine cask and keg beers.
They are based in what was the Sir James Hill Textiles mill.
