Monday 9th October 2017 7.30 pm – A talk by Barrie Yates, Immediate Past President of the Leeds Association of Engineers entitled Power to save the World.
This lecture explains just why we really do need Nuclear energy to stop co2 pollution and Global Warming. It is designed to show just how nuclear power works, and to alleviate worries about safety. Included is an overview of more modern and safe reactors being developed.
