The Keighley Association of Engineers is pleased to announce its February 2024 event, a talk by John Trenouth on “Heroic Failures of Invention”.
John gave us an excellent talk after our 2023 AGM.
His talk will follow the story of one man’s bizarre range of inventions, most of which didn’t work, some of which did, but for the wrong reasons, and his international fame for inventing something he did not!
Guests are most welcome to attend. Please book your places with your Secretary John Pankhurst. Telephone : 07582 822922 email kaoe2022@gmail.com
Please Park in the car park by the railway bridge off Lawkholme Lane and walk up Lawkholme Lane towards Keighley Centre. Take the first right through the gates and go to Main Reception opposite (not the door to your right which we have used in the past). Inside we will be escorted in groups to a lift up to floor 2 and then steps to floor 3.
Please wait for someone to let you in or call John Pankhurst to let us know you are waiting
